Plastic Material PC
What is Material PC?
Plastic material PC is a kind of carbon-based plastic that has excellent mechanical and optical properties. This material is widely used in medical appliances due to its high impact resistance, clarity, and toughness. It is also suitable for sterilization by ethylene oxide and limited autoclave cycles. Some of its most common applications include syringes, surgical instruments, and eyewear. This plastic material has good chemical compatibility and is eco-friendly. However, it is more expensive than acrylic.
Polycarbonate is a thermoplastic that can be molded easily. It exhibits a unique set of properties and has many uses in the plastic industry. This material is an excellent option for 3D printing because of its high strength and durability. Moreover, it has excellent thermal and mechanical resistance. It is also lighter than other rigid materials and has a high level of transparency.
Polycarbonate is a naturally transparent thermoplastic that transmits ninety percent of light, making it an excellent choice for windows and other glass-like materials. It is available in a wide variety of shades and can be customized to fit the end-user requirements. It is also lightweight and more efficient than glass, which reduces the transportation costs. In addition, polycarbonate is a great choice for applications requiring protection from harmful UV rays.

How Does Plastic Injection Molding Work?
Plastic injection molding is a process in which plastic pellets are formed and injected into molds to form the desired shape. The plastic melts in a chamber and reaches a specified temperature, so the injection time has to be calculated correctly. Once the desired shape is achieved, the plastic pellets are cooled, and the mold is opened. An ejection bar is then used to force the solid plastic part out of the open cavity.
